Christmas Festival – Llangefni Town Hall, Llangefni

14th December, 9:00 – 15:00

On Saturday 14th December, Llangefni Town Hall will be hosting its annual Christmas Festival which brings together some of the island’s greatest artisans, food producers and local businesses for a day of festival fun. 

Taking place between 9am and 3pm, this is the perfect event for getting hold of those last minute Christmas presents and stocking up on those all essential food supplies. Throughout the day there will be live festive entertainment, ensuring that all members of the family are sure to get into the festive spirit.

The event is completely free to enter with limited parking available at Llangefni Town Hall. Make sure you arrive early to ensure that you get a space. 

Christmas Silent Disco – Plas Newydd House & Gardens, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll

21st December, 11:00 -12:00, 12:30 -13:30 & 14:00 – 15:00

The historic estate of Plas Newydd House & Gardens near Llanfairpwll will host a silent Christmas Disco on the 21st December with three separate hour-long sessions taking place at 11am, 12:30 pm and 2pm in the grand music room.

The Christmas disco has a special historic significance, with the 5th Marquess of Anglesey (otherwise known as the ‘Dancing Marquess’) having held his own festive event in this very same room over 100 years ago. 

Music tastes may have changed over this time, but the fact that it is a silent disco means that you can adorn the headphones provided and listen to your own particular style of music be it pop, rock or even classical in keeping with the historic theme. 

This is ideal for children of all ages and also those with learning difficulties, with it being possible to book up to two essential companion or carer tickets alongside a paying ticket for this wonderful Christmas event on Anglesey. .

Santa’s Grotto – Anglesey Sea Zoo, Llanfairpwll

21st & 22nd December, 11:00 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 16:00

Every weekend in December, Father Christmas will be making an appearance in his grotto at Anglesey Sea Zoo to take note of your children’s Christmas list and to truly get them in the festive spirit.

No prior booking is necessary, you simply have to buy tickets to enter Anglesey Sea Zoo in order to be eligible to enter the grotto. There are two separate sessions on both Saturday & Sunday, ensuring that your little ones will be almost certain to get an appointment with the big man. 

Over the rest of the day, you can make your way around the fantastic Anglesey Sea Zoo which is home to over 150 different species of marine life to see here at an attraction which is both fun and informative for the whole family.
