Christmas on Anglesey – Events to put in your calendar

Heading into the Christmas period we want to share some of our favourite festive activities around Anglesey and North Wales for the whole family. Read on to find out what you can get up to!

Zipmas at Zip World – Snowdonia

If you’re passing Snowdonia on your way to Anglesey, why not stop by Zip World for a magical ‘Zipmas’ experience. This is an underground Christmas adventure that will be interesting for all ages.

Venture 500ft underground in a cable railway to the Victorian slate mines where you’ll find Santa’s Grotto. Meet the man himself, have a game of the world’s first adventure golf in a cave, and decorate Victorian slate baubles for your tree.

Anglesey Sea Zoo Christmas Markets

Grab some breakfast with Santa, or afternoon tea with Elsa in Anglesey Sea Zoo this December! 

If you’re looking for something different to do with the family this Christmas then add a Zoo visit to the list. Get some Christmas shopping done at the festive markets whilst enjoying a mince pie or two.

Enchanted Forest at Greenwood Family Park

Greenwood Family Park is back with their Enchanted Forest experience this year. Join Buddy the Elf for a walk in an illuminated forest and some incredible fire displays. You will also get the chance to meet Santa to find out how nice (or naughty) you’ve been this year!

Each session is an hour and a half long and tickets include a small present for children.

But that’s not all! Greenwoods are also holding wreath making workshops where you will learn from an expert florist to make your perfect Christmas wreath.

Santa Clause is coming to a town near you

For another year running the Holyhead and District Round Table have arranged for Santa to visit a street near you in Anglesey! Wrap up warm and bring the kids out to give Santa a wave in his sleigh. 

When: 8th – 20th December

We also have Christmas events happening at Bulmer Leisure’s Silver Bay Holiday Park in the last week of November.
