Château Rhianfa (Menai Bridge)

If you want somewhere classy which serves Sunday Lunch on Anglesey, then where better than a grade II listed luxury hotel? If you like the sound of that, then Le Dragon Rouge Restaurant at Château Rhianfa is definitely worth a visit. Treat yourself to a three course feast using only the finest ingredients sourced from local butchers and farmers and walk it off in the Château’s beautiful gardens.

The Breeze Hill Hotel (Benllech)

Another hotel on the list is Breeze Hill Hotel which is widely thought as the best place for Sunday lunch on Anglesey. Situated in Benllech Bay, Breeze Hill is great for the whole family. With a Sunday lunch at just £9.75, you’d be silly not to give it a try. Can’t make it there on a Sunday? The hotel also serves a mid-week carvery every Wednesday from 12pm to 2pm with the option to eat in or take away.

The Bull Inn (Pentraeth)

A roast dinner doesn’t have to be reserved just for Sunday. At The Bull Inn you can enjoy a carvery every day of the week, all day long. Based in Pentraeth, The Bull Inn specialises in home-cooked comfort food in a traditional pub setting and is frequented by locals & tourists alike. So if you are looking for someone to have a Sunday Carvery on Anglesey in a welcoming family setting, look no further than The Bull Inn. 

The Anglesey Arms (Menai Bridge)

One of the first buildings to greet you as you cross the bridge into Anglesey is that of The Anglesey Arms which offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious home cooked food and real ales. The Anglesey Arms Sunday Lunch menu is every bit as good as their weekday offerings, with diners given a choice of Welsh roast beef, slow cooked lamb shank, pork belly or homemade nut roast. Looking to indulge? There’s also the option to have two courses for £16.50 or three courses for £20.

Liverpool Arms Hotel (Beaumaris)

Dating back to the 14th century, the Liverpool Arms Hotel offers a variety of real ales and home cooked food in cosy surroundings, including an open fire and oak beams. Every Sunday from 12pm they serve up a traditional carvery and, except for the Yorkshire puddings and stuffing, it’s all gluten free so perfect for those with special dietary requirements. It is generally considered to produce the best Sunday Lunch in Beaumaris, so is well worth a visit if you are in the region. 

Tre-Ysgawen Hall (Llangefni)

Tre-Ysgawen Hall was originally built as one of the country’s grand mansions in 1882 and is one of the finest country house hotels in Wales. You don’t have to be a guest to enjoy the amazing surroundings of the hotel though, with Sunday lunch being served each week from 12pm to 2pm for hotel guests and loyal patrons from the local area.  You can choose from a selection of roast beef, pork or chicken, served with all the trimmings plus a choice of delicious starters and desserts.

The Bulkeley Hotel (Beaumaris)

The Bulkeley Hotel is a Grade I listed building located in the heart of Beaumaris, just a short walk from the beach. The hotel has two restaurants to choose from, Hansoms and Bistro 1832. Hansoms serves up a Sunday roast each week and has a great selection of meats to choose from. This includes chicken breast, roast leg of Welsh lamb, topside of beef, loin of Welsh pork, baked salmon, and a brie and a tasty apple cider tart for vegetarians.

The Seacroft (Trearddur Bay)

Located on Trearddur Bay, The Seacroft offers superb local food and a roaring open fire, perfect for retreating to after a long walk on the beach. They also serve up a delicious Sunday lunch with a choice of roast meats and all the trimmings. Diners also have the option to add extras such as pigs in blankets or extra Yorkshire puddings. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available for those who have different dietary requirements.

The Valley Hotel (Holyhead)

What was once a traditional coaching house on the Holyhead to London route, The Valley is now a thriving pub serving up a range of real ales and homemade food. On Sundays they serve up a carvery between 12 – 4pm; choose from three different meats and plenty of seasonal and local vegetables.

The Deck House at Silver Bay

Last but not least, we have our very own Deck House Restaurant at Silver Bay Holiday Park where we serve Sunday dinner each week with a selection of different meats accompanied by all of the trimmings.  In our opinion it is the best Sunday Lunch on Anglesey, but you don’t just have to take our word for it.
