A Little History…
ABI was founded in 1972 on the back of a merger between Ace and Belmont. The companies combined their respective competencies and immediately began to establish themselves as one of the most innovative holiday home manufacturers in the industry.
Their initial focus included touring caravans, but all of this came to a stop in 2001 when the company decided to put all of its energies into securing its position as one of the UK’s leading static caravan manufacturers. ABI hasn’t looked back since, expanding into the luxury holiday lodge industry in 2017.
Over this time, the company has established a reputation for innovation, particularly when it comes to energy bills and environmental impact. In 2013, ABI became the first holiday home manufacturer to install a biomass boiler and in 2021 the company became completely carbon neutral. This underlines how ABI has adapted its practices to remain at the very forefront of this ultra competitive industry.
