Getting to Lligwy Beach

Lligwy beach is located just around the corner from the village of Moelfre on the north east shores of Anglesey. If you are travelling by car with the aid of a sat-nav you will need to know that Lligwy Beach postcode is LL70 9PQ.

Those of you who are walking to Lligwy beach from Woodland Falls Holiday Park will be able to take the woodland path which can be accessed just behind our state of the art leisure complex. Is Lligwy Beach Dog Friendly?

We are pleased to be able to say that Lligwy Beach is dog friendly all year round. Dogs can even be let off lead on some areas of the beach too.

Holiday home owners at Woodland Falls are more than welcome to bring the four legged members of their family with them every time they visit their home away from home. This makes the nearby Lligwy beach an ideal destination to head if you are looking for something to do with the whole family.

Lligwy Beach Parking

Naturally, holiday home owners at Woodland Falls Holiday Park have no need to worry about parking with our retreat being located just a short 10 minute walk away from Lligwy Beach.

However, if you are visiting the local area from afar then you will find that Lligwy Beach car park is located right next to the beach itself. Parking charges vary here depending on the season, with summer parking available from £2 per hour and £6 for 4 hours, with winter charges starting at £1 per hour and £3 for 4 hours.

Please be aware that overnight parking is not permitted here and there are SIP cameras in operation at the venue. Make sure that you do not exceed the allocated amount of time for parking that you have paid for or you will face charges.

What Facilities Are There at Lligwy Beach?

There are a wealth of facilities available to visitors at Lligwy Beach. This includes the highly recommended Lligwy Beach cafe which serves a wonderful array of snacks, sweet treats and slightly more substantial delights.

You can choose from homemade cakes and pies, all the way through to wood fired pizzas. When the sun has its hat on you can also treat yourself to a delicious ice cream supplied by the popular Marshfield Farm varieties.
