Children’s Activities & Entertainment at Silver Bay Holiday Park

Our Busy Bayers children’s activities service offers a range of fun activities for children of all ages, keeping them entertained every time that you stay on park. 

Your children will be able to get involved in arts & crafts activities, learn a few baking skills with our Busy Bakers classes or just have a bit of fun in one of our messy play sessions.

Our leisure team also regularly gets involved in the programme, arranging sports and swimming pool based activities for varying age groups. This includes football matches, dodgeball, water parties in our on-site heated swimming pool and a Youth Gym, which your teenagers will love.

What are the school holidays for? At Silver Bay it’s the freedom for children to explore, make sandcastles, and play endless games. It’s hours of outdoor fun, spotting wild animals, beach-combing and exploring in the woodland. If children are happy discovering nature at Silver Bay, then parents are happy too. Here’s a selection of activities we have to keep your little adventurers entertained.

We are one of the very few holiday parks with entertainment for children who have direct access to an award winning beach. Silver Bay Beach recently picked up a Green Coast Award on the cleanliness of the water and unspoiled natural habitat that we have worked so hard to maintain.

We have a number of children’s activities which take full advantage of this feature with everything from simple coastal walks to beach specific activities that will appeal to all ages.

We have an amazing on-site spa and leisure complex where you will find our heated indoor swimming pool.

The littles ones will love the wide selection of activities that take place in this facility with everything from competitive water polo games through to the chance to try pool kayaking for the first time. Here is just a short sample of some of our indoor water based activities that your children will have to choose from:

Water Polo
We offer a special water polo session for children who are aged 7 and over. Here they can frolic in the pool and learn to play this fun sport which is growing in popularity. It encourages a team player mentality in children and offers the opportunity to explore the world of water sports.

Adventure Play Area
Our on-site adventure play area at Silver Bay is the perfect place for children to run riot! Featuring a fantastic wooden pirate boat as well as a range of slides, swings and a climbing net – imaginations are set to go wild.

If the weather isn’t accommodating, then we also have a selection of indoor sessions for children to take advantage of.

Many of these indoor sessions are likely to appeal most to children who have a creative flair, with our children’s activity team providing the little ones with the opportunity to really let their imaginations run free. Here are just a few of the arts and crafts activities for children which are available at Silver Bay:

Pottery Painting – Age 3+

A paintbrush is one of the best tools for encouraging creativity, and here at Silver Bay we like to do it with a little twist. Pottery painting is one of our most popular classes, and children love the chance to pop their creative hats on and go wild with colour!

We believe it’s important for your children to remain active, especially during the holidays when there are no PE lessons. We therefore endeavour to offer a great range of exercise sessions to keep our young Silver Bayers on the move.

Let’s Dance – Ages 4-10
Let’s Dance is a fantastic session for those who are aged between 4 to 10. Children can pop on their dancing shoes and learn a range of routines suitable to their age group. It’s a great way to encourage exercise and develop rhythm – and it’s a lot of fun for the parents to watch back what they’ve learnt!
